Cyprus really does have it all. It has vibrant beach resorts, buzzing nightlife, exciting adventure activities, indulgent luxury and maybe, best of all, it has peaceful remote retreats, where getting away from it all and relaxing is the name of the game.
In celebration of these oases of calm, My Cyprus Insider has put together a list of some of our favourite, remote rural retreats for an escape from reality and some serious R and R.
1. Ayii Anargyri Natural Healing Spa Resort, Miliou

The word Apokryfo comes from the Greek phrase meaning ‘hidden away’ or ‘kept secret’ and indeed Apokryfo hotel in Lofou village is a hidden secret of the Cyprus remote rural tourism scene.
