1. Nasty Cat, Nicosia
Nasty Cat has been expertly fusing delicious artisan coffee and gluten- or sugar-free – cake, with contemporary fashion, since it opened its doors last year.
The concept café, is also a showroom for the stylish collections of popular Cypriot designer Erotokritos. However, the lush leafy garden is not exclusively for shoppers, anyone in need of a refreshing fresh fruit juice, a fragrant slow-roasted coffee or a signature Matcha Almond latte is welcome to relax in the serene haven. The cute space is also full of magazines so head here alone and catch up on some you time!

2. Library Bar, Limassol
Already a firm favourite on the Limassol bar scene, Library Bar ramped its offering up a notch with the introduction of an achingly cool garden at the back of the bar last summer.
In keeping with the general style of the rest of the bar, the garden blends a utilitarian concrete aesthetic with the more traditional vintage look and feel of the traditional old building the bar is housed in – perfect for an effortlessly chic evening tasting Library’s famous cocktails.

3. Korniza Baroque, Nicosia
Luscious fuchsia pink bougainvillea hangs down over the stunning garden at the front of Korniza Baroque , like a floral curtain giving the bar an air of mystique and romanticism.

5. Let Them Eat Cake, Paphos
Let Them Eat Cake is Paphos’ self-proclaimed go-to place for satisfying any sweet craving; however, although the name suggests a menu full of cake, and well, more cake, this cosy little local hot-spot also has a huge variety of delicious meals from homemade burgers to salads, toasties and brunch.
And with a lovely large, spacious and airy garden in the back of the shop, visitors can sit down and enjoy a drink, meal or a coffee and some cake outside by the light of the fairy lanterns hanging from the trees.

6. The Powerhouse (Palia Ilektriki), Nicosia

Following a full renovation of Paphos’ traditional old Hamam, the state gave permission for a café bar to open on the grounds, the result – Hamam Café Lounge Bar is a stunning example of history meeting a vibrant café scene in the coastal city. The stunning old building makes a fabulous backdrop of the bar, and the garden itself is a lush green oasis of calm in the city centre.
A great place for an afternoon frappe, or an early evening beer, the café also serves simple fresh food, perfect for a lunchtime snack.

Funky urban design, meets zen garden at Lab, where the modern exterior is more like an outdoor courtyard with an open roof.

10. Garden Day and Night, Nicosia
Garden Day and Night is one of those places that has kind of always been there, but now that it has been revamped, it is really starting to receive the attention it deserves.
The indoor bar is nothing to write home about, however the stunning, open garden is well worth checking out, with its huge turquoise pool lit up at night giving it a summer holiday vibe. The drinks and the food are pretty good too!
