Thought to date back to Roman times, this aqueduct was reconstructed by Ottoman Governor, Bekir Pashia in 1745, while the arches channelled water from Tremithos River to Larnaca until 1936. The site is open at all times and is rather magical come sunset when it lights up in majestic glory.

3. Tzelefos Bridge, Paphos
Nestled deep in the Paphos Forest, it may be a bit of a drive to get here, but the journey will certainly prove worth it once you get to have your picture taken next to this captivating Venetian bridge with its imposing arch, surrounded by glorious nature. Whether you want to sit back by the river for a gorgeous photo with your other half, or prefer standing proud arm in arm on top of the bridge, it’s bound to be a magical image.

For truly idyllic scenery, it’s also worth taking a photo in the wine growing area, starting off from the foothills of the Troodos Mountains outside Paphos and Limassol, and driving through the sunkissed slopes all the way up to the highest heights.

6. Ayios Sozomenos, Geri, Nicosia district
You can’t get much more of an unusual wedding photo than this; the couple below opted for a deserted village set against the backdrop of barren fields intersected by gorgeous palm trees reaching up for the open skies.

Situated just outside Nicosia near Dali, Ayios Sozomenos is thought to have obtained its name from early Cypriot Saint Sozomenos, an Alaman saint who reputedly lived in a nearby cave in the 12th century A.D.
