It’s one of the best workouts to calm anxiety while strengthening the body, and when you’re stuck at home with your mind on overdrive, yoga will help you relax as you seriously shape up! But it’s not always easy to just follow the moves on a pre-recorded video on YouTube without a live instructor to guide you. My Cyprus Insider has come to the rescue and located some great yoga studios offering online classes to help you stay fit as a fiddle during lockdown.

1. The Centre Yoga Studio

This very popular and highly rated boutique studio in Nicosia has recently started offering a comprehensive series of online classes, led by various qualified teachers, during the crisis. You may want to get the whole body all fired up with Vinyasa sequences or strengthen your core with hatha yoga – no matter what takes your fancy, there are morning and evening classes to suit all preferences and schedules. Meditation classes are also on offer online, helping clear the mind of all unnecessary stress.
