Beach bar heaven is easy to find in Ayia Napa, no matter what your prefered style. You can enjoy all things slick and sophisticated, hip and happening or relaxed and laid-back. Here are some of My Cyprus Insider favourites to tick off your list this summer!

1. Paradisos Beach Venue

Right in the centre of Ayia Napa on Pantahou Beach, this recently revamped beach venue offers comfort and luxury in one, with an all-new Sushi Bar Restaurant adding to your gastronomic experience by the sea.

You can even kick back on their special sunbeds built to orthopaedic standards, or enjoy hanging out with your group of friends on luxury king-sized sunbeds with your own table and comfy chairs. DJs play here on most days, and if you don’t fancy sushi or snacks, you can always indulge in a shared cheese platter.

2. Kaliva on the Beach

Another central Ayia Napa gem by the harbour area, Kaliva on the Beach combines rustic chic style within a beach bar-cum-restaurant.

The food on offer here is the perfect fusion of the Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine, and when you’ve tucked into your dish of choice in the restaurant area, you can kick back on the comfy sunbeds in the sunbathing areas right by the brilliant turquoise of the glistening Ayia Napa seas. On Saturdays and Sundays, things do get a bit busier, so if you prefer peace and quiet, just head here during the week.

3. Levels Beach Bar

Re-opening after lockdown this weekend, this place that opened up a few years ago now has become one of the most popular spots for beachside lazing on the east coast! Housed within the lovely grounds of the Asterias Beach Hotel and set on part of the sweeping Makronissos Bay, just kick back in your double bed gazebo at Levels Beach Bar and let all worries and stress wash away as you look out at the shimmering aquamarine waters.

The summer menu includes some great thirst-quenching cocktails, with a tempting list that’s hard to choose from!  Do be sure to book your gazebo in advance as they are mighty popular.
