As we slowly but surely wave goodbye to the summer and reflect on all the glorious sunkissed moments we enjoyed, the My Cyprus Insider team thought it would be fitting to share some of our favourite Instagram photos that we spotted over the past few months. Enjoy!

1. Ammos tou Kampouri Beach, Ayia Napa

It’s hard to find a little peace and quiet in Ayia Napa, but this off the beaten track gem is an idyllic place to kick back in the popular seaside town. Having been given a recent upgrade, you can kick back on gorgeous new sunbeds under the shade of pretty wicker umbrellas.

2. Crystal clear waters of Ayia Napa

There are so many amazing spots to head to around the island for a beach adventure, and this Instagrammer perfectly captures the magic of the crystal clear waters of Ayia Napa. Who can blame us for wanting to dive right in!

3. Sandy Beach, Paphos

Every surfer’s idea of heaven, Sandy Beach is a gorgeous spot that attracts sporty types eager to hit the waves. A cute little beach bar adds to the charm of the area.

4. Sea Caves, Peyia

Close to Coral Bay, these spectacular sea caves are often a great talking point – a place of immense beauty and geological interest, the rocky coastline and sea caves also act as the backdrop for countless stunning photos taken by curious travellers.

5. Aphrodite’s Bath Beach, Latchi

A picture-perfect beach if ever there was one, this beauty – right by the stunning Akamas peninsula – attracts avid snorkellers and beach bums who simply wish to relax on one of the most beautiful spots on the island.

6. White Rocks, Governors Beach, Limassol

Just a few hundred metres west of the organised Governor’s Beach lies a beautiful unspoilt stretch of chalk coastline – the sedimentary rocks, formed several million years ago, give way to gorgeous pebbly coves and make for the perfect spot to kick back in isolated seclusion. As this picture illustrates, the rocky spot also attracts fishermen after their daily catch.
