3. Aes Ambelis Winery, Kalo Chorio Orinis
Aes Ambelis has worked up a great reputation for its quality wines, but not everyone knows that the Aes Ambelis winery also transforms into a fantastic wedding reception venue as the sun goes down over the surrounding mountain peaks. Set in Kalo Chorio Orinis, not too far outside Nicosia (about 28 km from the centre), the winery is surrounded by a lovely three hectare vineyard filled with Maratheftiko and Shiraz varieties.
