If you are after fabulous brunch or meze nibbles with a stunning view to remember, head down to the newly opened Boukkoma (a traditional term used in Greek Cypriot dialect to describe a small meal comprising of various morning bites).

Located in the leafy village of Platanistasa in the mountainous Pitsilia region, and perfectly set under a canopy of vines, Boukkoma is the ideal place to stop off if you are exploring this rural area on the Northern Troodos slopes, famed for its gorgeous green Plane (Platanus) trees. The little establishment is run by a passionate young chef who decided to set up base in the village youth centre and began to serve hungry patrons at the weekends in the lush back yard.



The perfect spot for Saturday or Sunday brunch, delectable delights gracing the picnic tables include village eggs, sausages and halloumi, homemade bread and tasty marmalade. After a full-blown meal?
