1. Tamasos dam & canyon, Nicosia district
While crowds gravitate towards the sea in the hot summer months, many adventurers aren’t actually aware of the fact that you can enjoy some splashing good fun deep in the Cyprus countryside. Just 20 minutes outside Nicosia, the Tamasos dam provides the perfect spot for a picture-perfect summer kayaking session. Cocooned by undulating countryside, the nearby Riverland Dairy Bio Farm organises excursions which can be enjoyed by young and young at heart!

2. Peyia coastline, Paphos district
If you’re enjoying summertime bliss on the rockier west coast of the island, there’s plenty of adventure to be had in the deep blue seas. Just head down to Zephyros Adventure Sports and prepare to head out for half a day of uninterrupted exploring. Once you’re out at sea, you can enjoy the serenity, but the most fascinating sites are closer to the rugged coastline – sea caves, shipwrecks, fossils, collapsed caverns underground beaches….you name it, you’ll experience it.

3. St Raphael Marina, Limassol district
With endless entertainment on offer in Limassol, nothing beats heading to the water’s edge after a drink and nibble at one the city’s buzzing cafes or restaurants.
