This week, Alpha Chef, Stelios Loizou, uses halloumi cheese to make a creamy sauce which gives a real twist to your average plate of green beans! Healthy and delicious!
SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS
800 gr fresh green beans
1 cup milk
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
½ cup fresh cream
Salt
Pepper
Chili peppers (optional)

PREPARATION
Clean and trim the beans and place in boiling water for 10 minutes with plenty of salt.
Melt the butter in a small pan and add the flour.
Stir for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add in the pre-heated milk, bit by bit.
Place the pan back on the heat and stir. Add the cream. Add salt, pepper and the halloumi.
Place the green beans on a plate and pour the sauce on top.
You may serve with chili peppers as garnish if you like.
