A brand new sweet spot in the Strovolos district of Nicosia has already made of a name for itself, going by the name of Noufaro Take Away Pastry. The new venue has been set up by Nicolas Nicolaou, former co-owner and chef patissier of the well-known Noufaro in the Agios Dhomedios district of Nicosia.

With delectable treats crafted by the talented Nicolas now delighting the palate at a brand new location, prepare to be taken on a satiating taste journey through Cypriot tradition and beyond, with classic beloved European style desserts also stars of the show!

 

 

Although the striking décor is modern and streamlined, there are plenty of treats on offer that will whisk you away to days gone by, with many of the desserts on offer using the same recipe as the beloved Noufaro cakes that have been enjoyed over years past. The famous traditional koks are always a big hit, as are the ‘papades’- syrupy sponge with patisserie cream filling. Their traditional chocolate cake is as dreamy as can be, while there are also plenty of desserts on offer with a French flair, like the classic eclairs, Mille-feuille, fruit tarts and French almond croissants. New recipes also add to the sweet love affair, with their latest banoffee cake going down a treat.
