1. Choirokitia, Larnaca district
A village normality associated with its ancient settlement, Choirokitia will be filled with festive cheer and plenty of activities for the young and young at heart to enjoy. With a festive event taking place on the afternoon of December 16th, the parking area of the Choirokitia Neolithic Settlement will give kids the chance to enjoy a carousel and mini train rides, as well as archery, football and basketball. Add handicrafts, drawing, music and carols to the mix and you’re guaranteed an afternoon to remember.
Where and when? Choirokitia Village, Larnaca district. December 16th. 12 noon – 6pm.
2. Kalopanayiotis, Marathassa Valley
It’s revered as one of the most beautiful and well-kept villages on the island and everyone is invited down to Kalopanayiotis village centre on December 8th for a fun-filled festive afternoon. Giving you the chance to sing along to your favourite Christmas songs with a variety of performers and vocal ensembles, you can also sip on wine and Zivania while munching away on warm chestnuts. What’s more, they’ll be a discussion taking place with Dr. Clito Ioannides on the ‘The Spirit of Christmas’.

3. Petrides Farm Park, Nicosia district
This popular spot in Margi will be hosting tons of fun Christmas activities in idyllic natural surrounds in the days just before Christmas. Adults can browse stalls selling handcraft creations, while the little ones can have a good giggle on a pony or donkey ride. They’ll also be face painting and glitter tattoo stations, clowns and magic shows, and lots of music by Super FM. Santa will also be spreading the festive cheer and handing out gifts to the little ones.
