Craving a satiating sip of your favourite cocktail? Wish you had more to read at home? Desperately feeling the need for an extra dose of inspiration while you spend endless hours in the safety of your home? My Cyprus Insider gives you the lowdown on who to contact!
1. Inspiring reading material from Soloneion Book Centre
Many of us have a list of books that we would like to read one day tucked away somewhere. Well, it looks as though the time is now! And if you don’t have any of the novels or biographies that you’d love to get your teeth into while staying safe at home, just message or call Soloneion Book Centre, who will be happy to cater to your request. Deliveries take place on the next working day, between 4pm and 7pm, while payments are made upon delivery with cash or card. Delivery costs €3, and all safety measures are being strictly followed. Place your order via the Soloneion Book Centre facebook page, via email at email@example.com, Instagram or phone by calling + (357) 22666799
2. Your favourite cocktail from Lost + Found Drinkery & Silver Star Bar
Two of the capital’s favourite bars are doing a great job of ensuring that we don’t go without our favourite drink, even if we’re lazing on our sofa watching our favourite series. Lost + Found Drinkery, one of the best cocktail bars on the island, has just introduced a delivery service via Wolt. The cocktail menu is enriched with delicious bar food as well as non-alcoholic refreshments. “We know you are missing a lot of things these days, just making sure you won’t be missing your favourite drinks,” says the establishment. Cocktails are brought to your door, served with ice on the side and special instructions. The popular Silver Star Bar has also started a similar home service via Wolt, sending your favourite after-work cocktails and ice straight to your door.
3. A sip of caffeinated heaven from Starbucks
Some of us are so accustomed to popping into our favourite coffee shop for some caffeinated jo in the morning or during our lunch break, that the news of all coffee shops closing around the island was exceptionally strange. But Starbucks Cyprus have saved the day, offering take away services from a few of their key shops in Nicosia and beyond (including Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos). Delivery to your door is also available via Wolt in Nicosia, from two of the capital’s main stores. Now is your chance to enjoy your favourite cappuccino, espresso, macchiato, frappuccino and more, from the comfort of your own living room! Do keep in mind that you can also order food and home coffee supplies. Weekend, sorted!
