The blissfully quiet village of Dymes, located in the heart of the Pitsilia region in the Limassol district, has long attracted the curious visitor looking for a peaceful day out away from the city. And now, country explorers who love to satiate their taste buds in unusual hidden eateries are in for an added treat; a weekly brunch event is now being hosted every Sunday in the dreamiest spot in the village centre, combing local fare with sweeping views of the surrounding pine-clad countryside.
Known as 4873, the gorgeous spot (located within the Dymes Youth Centre) has already worked up quite a reputation for its sumptuous and delicious traditional Cypriot breakfast, with patrons raving about the traditional sausages served. Their freshly cut chips are also divine. Traditional pies and sweet treats are also on offer, including delicious apple pie, and you can wash down your meal with healthy fresh juice or an iced coffee.
Once you’ve enjoyed the feast, head out on a journey of discovery through the village to enjoy a lazy Sunday stroll in traditional streets, with most houses made from local stone. The village church is dedicated to John the Baptist and was builtin 1861.
