As parents rack their brains for ideas on how to keep the family busy at home, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation is organising series of online activities to keep the young ones entertained, entitled ‘Culture Means Solidarity’. The series of digital activities is based on a number of important pillars – art, creative writing, cooking and more – and has kickstarted with a focus on visual arts.

Geared towards children between 4 – 13 years of age, they will be inspired by the history and culture of Cyprus as they bring to life ancient figures that comprise part of the archaeological collection of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation.

Images have been uploaded onto the foundation’s facebook page (and will continue to be regularly uploaded) as kids are urged to get creative, imagining how their life would have been in ancient Cyprus. They can use material and colours of their choice, and send a photo of their works by March 27th 2020 via the facebook page, with the title of their work and their age.

All works will then be presented in a digital exhibition at a later stage, with details to be announced closer to the time.
