If you’ve ever been to Larnaca’s Pierides Museum, then you’ll be well aware that gorgeous colonial-style building is a history lover’s paradise, filled with collections giving you the chance to travel back in time, spanning 10000 years of the island’s history. And now, the seaside town’s beloved museum is giving cinephiles the chance to enjoy a magical journey through the world of film in the building’s pretty gardens.

 

 

Admission is free, and films are screened every Wednesday night at 8.30pm. There are some great classics in the mix, comedies from days gone by (A Fish Called Wanda is on the list), as well as some recent releases like the Danish Shorta and the Mexican/Spanish drama Sin señas particulares.
