In February 2015, a team of expert content writers, editors, designers and web developers at Action Global Communications in Cyprus joined forces to set about creating a website that was to showcase our beautiful country in a whole new light. The unique CSR project was created at a time when Cyprus was receiving negative international publicity following tough economic times, and the team was determined to communicate a more positive message through the first English language blog website of its kind.

Beyond all the typical tourist attractions, the aim was to dig beneath the surface, to promote the glories of the island from a truly ‘insider’ point of view. Five years on, we are exceptionally grateful that the site enjoys an exceptionally wide readership from around the world, with many of our stories receiving thousands of shares on social media, coupled with wonderful feedback. As we celebrate our five-year anniversary, we present you with the five most popular stories ever published on the site.
