Many people don’t even know that this gorgeous Milia medieval bridge exists, nestled amid a density of greenery, just below Platres village inside the forest. Once a crossing point over Krios Potamos river, you can get to it via a nature trail that goes right past the bridge, starting at Platres Sports Centre and ending at the Platres -Pera Pedi road.

It should only take you about 30 minutes to walk it, but the terrain isn’t the easiest, so do wear good hiking shoes and prepare for some gorgeous nature as you explore the area on route to the lovely bridge. A real medieval stunner, you can kick back to take in the splendours of nature that surround the bridge, as the senses are lulled by the gurgle of the river.
